Your appointment is designed to feel exciting, comfortable, and entirely personal. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what you want—that is what we are here to help you discover.

We will begin by learning about your wedding, your personal style, your budget, and how you want to feel in your gown.

Your stylist will give you space to explore while thoughtfully guiding you toward gowns that reflect your vision, paying close attention to what makes you feel most like yourself.

We will explore silhouettes, fabrics, accessories, and available customization options to help your gown feel unmistakably yours.

When you find the gown that changes everything, we will explain the next steps and celebrate the moment with you.

We want your appointment to be as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Here are the key details to help you prepare.
Gown Price Range
Our Gowns Range from $1400-4000.
Appointment Duration
Our Classic Appointments are 75 minutes with our elevated appointments lasting 90-120 minutes.
Sample Size Range
Our samples range from 6-24 with most dresses orderable from 00-32.
Guest Allowance
Our Classic Appointment allows for 4 guests. Larger group? Book one of our private appointments which can accommodate up to 12.
Special Order Timeline
Most dresses take 4-8 months to order.
Rush or Short Timeline Options
We do have rush options available with a fee for some dresses that take as little as 2 weeks. We also have many dresses available to take home same day!
Cancellation + No Show Policy
Our $50 no show fee is only charged in the event you do not cancel before your scheduled appointment time.
Accessibility
We have parking in the back that is accessible with no steps. We also have parking to the south of our building with a ramp.
Location
We are located in Coralville, Iowa just south of the Iowa River Landing off of I80. We serve the Iowa City, North Liberty, Tiffin, Cedar Rapids, Marion, Davenport, Moline, Bettendorf, and Muscatine areas.

Wear or bring nude undergarments
The right undergarments make a significant difference in how a gown fits and photographs. Seamless and nude tones work best.

Bring inspiration images
Screenshots, saved photos, or a Pinterest board are all welcome. They help your stylist understand your vision quickly.

Keep your guest list intimate
We recommend bringing one to three trusted people whose opinions matter most to you.

Your stylist may suggest styles outside your initial vision. Some of our most beloved yes moments came from unexpected choices.

Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone- the consultants are wonderful at picking dresses that will look beautiful on you. Take people with you that you feel comfortable around and that will give you honest feedback without being negative or putting pressure on you! Don’t take it too seriously! (Some advice I wish I had beforehand). Take your time and have fun with it, you don’t have to find your dress right away and the process is part of the experience. Thank you again for helping me find my perfect wedding dress! My wedding was the best day ever and I am so glad Brides by Jessa was a part of it!

Do I need an appointment to visit?
Yes, Brides by Jessa is by appointment only. This ensures you receive our full attention from the moment you arrive.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking your appointment as early as possible. Most gowns require 4 to 6 months for special order, so earlier is always better. Sometimes we have same day appointments available so be sure to check our booking page.

What is your price range?
Our gowns range in price. Your stylist will work within your budget and only show you gowns in your range.

Can I bring guests?
Yes. Guest allowances vary by appointment type. We recommend bringing the people whose opinions matter most to you.

What if I need to reschedule?
Most appointments can be rescheduled for no extra charge. You can reschedule through the appointment confirmation email you received or by calling us. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.

Do you offer alterations?
We work closely with local seamstresses but do not offer in store alterations. You are free to use the seamstress of your choice!

What should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend nude seamless undergarments and a strapless bra if possible. Avoid heavy makeup that may transfer to gowns.
